1. Who We Are
Hireme AI is a managed job-search service based in India. On behalf of our clients, we rewrite resumes and cover letters, submit job applications, and run direct HR outreach. When you work with us - or simply browse our website - you're trusting us with personal information, and we treat that trust as central to everything we do.
2. What Data We Collect
We only ever collect what we genuinely need to deliver your service:
- Identity data - your full name, email address, phone number, and city or location.
- Professional data - your resume, work history, education, LinkedIn URL, target roles and industries, and salary expectations.
- Communication data - messages, emails, WhatsApp chats, and notes from our calls with you.
- Usage data - if you visit our website, anonymous analytics such as pages viewed, time on page, device type, and browser. This is never tied to your identity.
- Payment data - transaction reference numbers and payment confirmations only. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials - every payment is processed securely by our payment gateway.
3. Why We Collect Your Data
- To deliver your service - rewriting your resume, creating your cover letter, submitting applications, and conducting HR outreach for you.
- To stay in touch - sending weekly progress reports and updates, and answering your questions.
- To improve - understanding what's working in your search so we can sharpen our approach.
- To meet legal obligations - keeping the records required under applicable Indian law.
- To invoice you - generating and sending your receipts and service invoices.
4. How We Collect Your Data
We gather your information directly from you and from your own activity, through:
- The onboarding form you complete after payment.
- Your kickoff call and any later calls or messages.
- The resume and LinkedIn profile you choose to share with us.
- Anonymous website analytics, where applicable.
- Payment confirmations from our payment gateway.
We never collect data silently or without your knowledge.
5. Your Consent
By signing our Client Service Agreement and paying for your service, you give Hireme AI your explicit consent to collect, store, and process your personal data for the purposes described in this policy.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Please note that withdrawing consent ends your service immediately, and our no-refund policy will apply.
6. How We Protect Your Data
- Storage - all client data lives in password-protected cloud folders with strict access controls.
- Access - only the Hireme AI team members actively working on your account can see your data.
- No third-party sharing - we never sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Ever.
- Retention - we keep your data for a maximum of six months after your service ends, then permanently delete it.
- Breach protocol - in the unlikely event of a data breach, we'll notify you within 72 hours, as required under DPDP 2023.
To deliver your service we rely on a small number of trusted third-party tools, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Razorpay - secure payment processing (UPI, cards, and net banking).
- Google Workspace - document storage and email.
- DocuSign - electronic signatures on service agreements.
- LinkedIn, Naukri & Indeed - job platforms where we submit your applications, on your instruction, as part of the service.
We use these tools solely to deliver your service - never for marketing or tracking.
8. Your Rights Under DPDP 2023
- Right to access - request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, anytime.
- Right to correction - ask us to fix any inaccurate or outdated information.
- Right to deletion - request deletion of your data once your service period ends.
- Right to grievance redressal - if you believe your data rights have been violated, raise it with us directly, or with the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies - only what's needed for basic functionality and anonymous analytics. We don't use cookies to track individuals, retarget you with ads, or build personal profiles. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, please contact us and we'll remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and notify active clients by email.
